Our mission: To support the well-being of our partners by safeguarding and growing their assets.
We specialize in SPAC research because of the substantial market inefficiencies available within the investment area. SPACs are publicly traded securities that raise cash for the purpose of purchasing a private company to list on the stock market. Before effecting a transaction, the common stock of the SPAC is fully backed by cash which provides significant downside protection. After a transaction is announced, the complex deal-making process can generate event-driven and arbitrage-oriented investment opportunities.
Our goal is to capitalize on mispricing at each phase of a SPAC’s lifecycle, from IPO through deal completion. We employ both qualitative and quantitative methods when evaluating SPAC teams, structures, deals, and business targets. Our goal is to take advantage of structural inefficiencies and security-specific mispricing while limiting market exposure risk and avoiding portfolio leverage. This fundamental approach differentiates us from SPAC investors that pursue a more passive, long-only approach.
